ECCC to Provide GED Testing in Louisville

News Release: East Central Community College in Decatur will soon provide GED Testing at the Louisville Career Advancement Center, announced Ryan Clarke, Director of Adult Basic Education/GED Testing.

Tax Assessor Can Soon Take Credit/Debit Cards

In their regular meeting on Feb 19th, the Winston County Board of Supervisors agreed to a contract with Cash Flow Solutions that would provide for credit/debit card services in the Tax Assessor's Office.  Customers who choose to pay taxes by credit or debit card would be charged a 3% fee by the company. The County cannot charge or collect such fees so individuals would receive two receipts: one for the taxes paid and another for the 3% fee from the provider.
